Important Nutrient: Calcium

Calcium is important in your diet because it builds and maintains healthy bones, and lowers blood pressure. Good sources of calcium include plain yogurt, part-skim ricotta cheese, sardines (canned with bones), milk (preferably skim or low fat), fortified orange juice and Swiss cheese.
